Learn to dance by drilling the basics in fun combinations and using slow movements and fast steps. All basic movements and group formations, as well as the fundamental vocabulary needed to build up to more experienced levels, will be taught in this class. Instructor Alexandra is a certified ATS® teacher, Sister Studio, through Fat Chance Belly Dance, a tribal dance form with roots in America and taught worldwide. Enrollments accepted any time.
Bollywood East Indian Style

With Hazan & Zahavah
Turkish-style Vintage Oryantal is a different variation of bellydance. Influenced by its Romani (gypsy) roots, Turkish Oryantal it is full of lively steps, a larger use of space, a spirited attitude, as well as intense hips and graceful flowing arms. In this class you'll learn not only the dance style but its history and culture. Expect to learn how to finger cymbals, Turkish spoons and veils, too. No prior dance experience necessary. ITS bellydance is an empowering art form, influenced by North African, Middle Eastern, Spanish, East Indian and contemporary dances. Instructor Di Flower is fluent in Gypsy Caravan style, with six years' experience with a professional troupe. She recently received Phase 2 certification in Rachel Brice's Eight Elements pogram. She's also taken workshops with Jill Parker, Zoe Jakes and Paulette Reese. Enrollments accepted any time.

This class focuses on technique and Middle Eastern style moves while working out to great world music. This is a moderate exercise class -- suitable for women of all ages and sizes -- that will help you with posture, work your core and more with a full body workout. No dance experience is necessary. We will focus on learning to enjoy movement and dance and gaining self-confidence in the body you have today. And don't forget the exposure to the glitz and glamour of this beautiful dance form.
