NEW!  Core Conditioning (begins June 18th)

Wednesdays, 12:15 p.m. to 1 p.m., Studio B

Dancers are keenly aware that building a strong core means more than just "ab" exercise, in fact the "core" consists of many different muscles which stabilize the spine, pelvis and shoulders, providing a solid foundation for movement.

This class works on strength, posture and flexibility all of which are key to a healthy existence. Students will work on an intensive conditioning technique, including extensive use of the Swiss ball (also known as a stability or balance ball). Attendees should wear loose, comfortable clothing, bring water and a towel. Students must provide their own ball.
